1. Assist in Closing of Monthly Financial Books of CJTL & FSL ensuring the following:
- All payments & receipts have been recorded;
- Receivable & Payable balances are reconciled with Customers & Vendors respectively
- Accruals including Salary, Loan interest etc. have been recorded
- Revenue & COS for the month has been recognized
- Amortization of prepaid expenditures (Insurance)
- Bank balances in ERP are matched with bank statements
2. Monthly Financial Reporting for CJTL & FSL:
- Assist Statement of financial position & Statement of profit or loss for CJTL & FSL
- Reconcile Sales of FSL with Purchases of CJTL; &
- Compare the Revenue & Cost of FSL’s in transit sales to calculate unrealized profit.
Annual Financial Statements:
- Assist Preparation of Annual Financial Statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Companies Act, 2017
- Liaison with the External Auditors; &
- Get the Financial Statements audited from External Auditors.
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by Director of Finance Department.
