Key Accountabilities:

Ensure quality control over the material to be used on projects. Ensure implementation of specifications on site regarding material requirements.
Monitor testing of material (soil, aggregate, concrete asphalt) at lab and site, conformance to required standards.
Suggest improvement/adjustments by blending of materials as per specifications of projects.
Keep in coordination and liaison with the Construction Manager, Site Supervisor and Contractor for specified material.
Verify and check the concrete mix design and job mix formula for asphaltic concrete.
Ensure maintenance of lab equipment office records and keep it up to date.
Check the Lab/ equipment of the contractor's Lab as and when required.
Conduct all visits required at site and Lab on as and when required basis, and also conduct audit of Lab set up & submit budget plan to the Head of the department and management.
