Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) across multiple environments, including Development, Quality Assurance, and Production.
- Deploy enterprise applications such as EAR, WAR, and JAR files using the WebSphere Admin Console or automation tools like wsadmin scripting.
- Manage incident and problem resolution processes, including performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and maintaining Knowledge Management documentation.
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality support services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 12 years of professional experience in WebSphere Administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot issues on platforms involving WebSphere, UNIX, and SQL.
- Strong expertise in WebSphere administration tasks such as application deployment, server configuration, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in monitoring and maintaining application health to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
