We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting SEO research from a Data Science perspective and will be proficient in web scraping. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to uncover actionable insights and optimize our SEO efforts.

What you’ll do or be responsible for:
- Conduct SEO research using advanced data science techniques.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Perform web scraping to collect and analyze large datasets from various sources.
- Utilize machine learning algorithms and statistical models to identify trends and patterns in SEO data.
- Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams to develop and execute data-driven campaigns.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track SEO performance and provide actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data science and SEO.

- Proven work experience in machine learning, data analysis and SEO
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Data Science
- You have 2+ years of experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Analytical skills that help turn data into the right decisions
- Proficiency in turning programming languages such as Python and/or R.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Familiarity with web analytics tools.
- Detail oriented
About the role:
- You will be required to undertake a trial period before being promoted into a full role.
- Starting salary: $1000 per month (part time)
