WordPress Developer

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join our team in Islamabad on a full-time, on-site basis. This opportunity is suited for a mid to senior-level professional who is passionate about building high-performance websites and delivering custom WordPress solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with designers and project managers to create polished, functional websites that align with client requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites according to client specifications.
- Build and modify WordPress themes and plugins to extend website functionality.
- Ensure websites perform optimally, remain available, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers and project managers to deliver quality digital products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall user experience.
- Keep up to date with the latest WordPress updates, industry trends, and best practices to enhance development processes continuously.

Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development within the WordPress environment.
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
- Strong understanding of website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party services efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to handle technical challenges.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations; familiarity with Shopify is advantageous.
- Experience with design tools like Adobe XD or Figma to implement website designs accurately.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs140,000, depending on experience.

This role requires on-site presence at our office in G-15, Islamabad. Candidates must be able to commute to this location. The position involves working night shifts from 6 PM to 3 AM, Monday through Friday. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of two years of WordPress development experience.
