We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with specific expertise in non-banking financial services (NBFCs). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and safeguarding the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on all matters related to corporate law, particularly those involving NBFCs.
- Ensure full compliance with SECP, SBP, and FBR regulations governing non-banking financial companies in Pakistan.
- Advise on matters related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws, as well as the Companies Act 2017.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and regulatory matters.
- Stay updated on the latest legal developments and advise management accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all business practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in managing legal risks and providing solutions to mitigate those risks.
