Handle and process inward and outward remittance transactions through various remittance partners (e.g., Western Union, Ria, MoneyGram, ACE, etc.).
Verify customer identity and documents in compliance with AML/CFT and KYC guidelines.
Ensure accuracy in transaction processing and issuance of receipts.
Maintain daily cash book, system reconciliation, and proper record-keeping of transactions.
Attend to customer inquiries regarding remittance services and provide guidance on procedures.
Report suspicious transactions immediately to the Compliance department.
Ensure that all transactions are in line with SBP rules and company SOPs.
Balance cash and remittance accounts at the end of the day.
Coordinate with the treasury or remittance department for float management and system issues.
Keep up-to-date with new remittance services, exchange rates, and promotions.
Participate in sales and marketing activities for remittance products, as and when required.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or new hires in remittance processes.
