We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to join our team, responsible for managing invoice processing, recoveries, and account management. The successful candidate will handle multi-currency invoicing, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain clear communication with clients to support timely payments. This role demands strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of sales tax and withholding tax treatments, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve payment issues. The position is based at our office and offers a hybrid work model following the probation period.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Handling:
Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain effective communication with clients through email, WhatsApp, and phone calls. Manage both multi-currency and local invoices while verifying billing terms against agreements to ensure accuracy. Record sales credits appropriately and apply knowledge of sales tax and withholding tax treatments on invoices. Ensure all billing information complies with company policies and promptly address any discrepancies or invoice-related issues.
Recoveries:
Develop and implement strategies to recover outstanding payments from clients. Engage directly with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary. Work closely with internal teams to identify and address the root causes of non-payment, ensuring effective resolution.
Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth financial transactions. Monitor client accounts proactively and address potential payment issues before they escalate. Provide clients with regular updates on their account status. Perform software postings, bank reconciliations, and generate various reports using Excel to support financial operations.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), or current enrollment in ACCA is required. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of taxation is considered an advantage. Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of relevant work experience will be preferred. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A hybrid work mode is available after the successful completion of the probation period. Benefits include Provident Fund (PF), medical reimbursement, two annual bonuses, bi-annual salary increments, and participation in company events such as refreshments, gatherings, and picnics. This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of Rs. 150,000. The role requires working in-person at the company office.
