The Payroll Manager at Afshan Anas Industries is a critical position responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll function for the organization. The Payroll Manager will lead a dedicated team of 40 professionals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to enhance team performance. This position also requires expertise in utilizing HRIS software and advanced Excel functions to generate insightful payroll reports to support organizational decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 40 payroll professionals, guiding and mentoring them to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll disbursements for all employees in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements related to payroll and employment taxes.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies while maintaining data integrity.
  • Utilize HRIS software to manage employee payroll data, ensuring updates are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and present detailed payroll reports to senior management, providing insights into payroll expenditures and trends.
  • Implement and maintain payroll compliance management processes to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure efficient integration of payroll data with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Handle complex payroll issue resolution, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
  • Develop, implement, and improve payroll policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Analyze payroll-related data to identify trends and make recommendations for compensation management and employee benefits strategies.
  • Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and best practices to continually enhance the payroll function.
