Assistant Manager Taxation

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Taxation to manage tax-related responsibilities. If you have strong expertise in taxation laws, compliance, and tax planning, this is a great opportunity for you!

Regulatory Compliance & Payments: Supervise timely processing of regulatory payments including sales tax and withholding taxes.
Tax Filing & Returns: Ensure timely filing of quarterly withholding tax statements, annual withholding statement, and monthly/annual sales tax returns.
Income Tax Returns & Audit: Handle income tax return filing, advance tax calculations, and manage audits and notices from tax authorities.
Appeals & Legal Coordination: Involve in appeals to CIR, ATIR, and High Court, and coordinate with tax/legal advisors for assistance in complex matters.
Tax Planning & Guidance: Provide tax planning strategies, guidance on tax queries, and update management on changes in tax laws, including federal budget proposals.
Tax Record Management: Maintain accurate records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
Reconciliation & Reporting: Conduct monthly reconciliation of tax-related general ledgers, prepare tax refund reports, and manage half-yearly income tax exemptions.
Tax Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate tax risks through innovative tax planning.
