You will manage the company's financial health by overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights for strategic decision-making. You will work closely with leadership and other departments to streamline processes and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management:

    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.
  2. Accounting Operations:

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
    • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and payments.
    • Manage tax filings, VAT/GST compliance, and audits.
  3. Strategic Support:

    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and business growth.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
    • Support leadership in formulating financial strategies.
  4. Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
    • Set performance goals, conduct appraisals, and provide training to enhance team capabilities.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
    • Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and external auditors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA certification is a plus).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Proven track record in managing accounting teams and handling complex financial operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, etc.).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
