Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our business in Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Inventory and Sales

Reconciliation:

Track and manage inventory costs, ensuring accurate stock valuation. Reconcile daily sales transactions and deposits for both branches.

Tax Compliance:

Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax and income tax, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts for effective planning.
Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving opportunities.

Banking and Auditing:

Handle bank reconciliations and coordinate with financial institutions for transactions.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Reporting:

Generate periodic financial reports for management. Present insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with branch managers and other team members to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail businesses.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Familiarity with tax regulations and inventory management.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Language:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
