We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the execution of EPC-based projects in the domains of wastewater treatment plants and solar energy systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, procurement, installation supervision, and commissioning support of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical design and layout of equipment for WWTP and solar projects.
Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and equipment datasheets.
Evaluate and select pumps, blowers, piping systems, valves, tanks, solar mounting structures, etc.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, instrumentation) for integrated designs.
Support procurement by reviewing vendor documents and technical evaluations.
Conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with project specifications, and support installation & commissioning activities.
Ensure projects are executed within timeline, budget, and safety guidelines.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth project delivery.
Prepare documentation for QA/QC, testing, FAT/SAT, and as-built drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
3–7 years of hands-on experience in EPC projects, especially WWTP or solar PV.
Knowledge of:
P&ID, Isometric, and General Arrangement Drawings
Pump sizing, pipe stress analysis, and hydraulics
Mechanical installation standards (ASME, ASTM, IS codes)
Familiarity with solar mechanical systems (mounting structures, tracking systems, etc.)
Proficient in software tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, MS Project/Primavera, Excel
Strong knowledge of project documentation, site execution, and safety standards
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
