We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Polymers Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, testing, and improvement of polymer materials and processes. The role includes working on materials such as thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, and polymer composites for applications in [e.g., construction, automotive, medical, packaging, etc.].

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize polymer materials and formulations for specific applications.
Conduct research on polymer processing methods, such as extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and thermoforming.
Evaluate and select raw materials to meet performance, cost, and sustainability goals.
Analyze polymer properties using techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, SEM, and rheometry.
Work with cross-functional teams in product development, manufacturing, and quality control.
Troubleshoot production issues related to polymer processing or material performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant material standards, environmental regulations, and industry certifications.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to meet technical requirements.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in polymer formulation, processing, or product development.
Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, thermoplastics, thermosets, and composite materials.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, or DIN related to polymers.
Experience with laboratory testing and analytical equipment for polymers.
Proficient in CAD tools or simulation software (optional, depending on the role).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
