Assistant Manager - Taxation & A/C

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in tax compliance and financial reporting, with particular expertise in sales tax and withholding tax regulations in Pakistan. This role requires preparing accurate tax returns, addressing regulatory inquiries, and producing comprehensive financial statements that support the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Accurately calculate and withhold income and sales tax deductions (Withholding Tax - WHT).
- Respond promptly and effectively to notices and inquiries issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
- Prepare detailed financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) accounts and balance sheets.
- Stay updated on all relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of experience in tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations applicable in Pakistan.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Part-qualified or finalist status in professional accounting certifications such as ICMA or ACCA is preferred.
- This is a full-time, on-site position offering a monthly salary range of Rs85,000 to Rs120,000.
