We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team, focusing on expanding our customer base and exploring new markets for automation, control, and electrical solutions. The role involves staying updated on market trends, developing effective business strategies, and managing the entire proposal process to support sales growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver both technical and commercial proposals, maintain strong relationships, and help achieve sales targets across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and explore market opportunities for automation, control, and electrical products.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend appropriate business development strategies.
- Draft, edit, and manage proposal documents, including technical specifications, pricing, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate the proposal process by tracking deadlines, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining communication with customers.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer activity reports using CRM tools or Excel dashboards.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide ongoing support.
- Adhere strictly to all safety standards in all activities.
- Gather and organize essential information for proposals, including customer requirements and product specifications.
- Conduct regular visits to customers to understand project needs and present tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients in industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, power, pharmaceuticals, and utilities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Support the Area Sales Manager with market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience working with EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
- Familiarity with ISO procedures and technical proposal documentation.
- Understanding of project-based sales cycles and industrial tendering processes.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, instrumentation, analyzers, and energy management systems is highly valued.
- This is a full-time position requiring in-person work at the designated location.
- Monthly salary range between Rs 75,000 and Rs 100,000.
