AutoCAD Draftsman

RAG Process LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise piping designs, making necessary modifications, and developing isometric drawings along with 3D models. This role requires strong expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, focusing on mechanical and piping drafting within industrial projects. The position involves close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure all designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare piping design drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Create accurate isometric drawings to support fabrication and construction activities.
- Produce 3D models to assist with project visualization and design review.
- Implement design modifications and updates based on directives from project engineers or client feedback.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project goals.
- Review and verify drawings for adherence to applicable standards and codes.
- Maintain drawing records and update documentation in line with project and quality control protocols.
- Provide support to site teams during construction and installation phases as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Certification in AutoCAD drafting or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven experience in piping design, isometric drafting, design modifications, and 3D modeling.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other 3D design software.
- Strong understanding of piping systems and industrial design standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
