We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly efficient Typist to support our team with dictation, research work, and the compilation of comprehensive documents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth flow of information within the company and the production of high-quality, well-organized documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Dictation: Accurately transcribe dictations and audio recordings, maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Research Work: Conduct thorough research on assigned topics, gathering relevant data and summarizing findings into well-organized reports.

Document Compilation: Compile and format research data, dictations, and additional content into cohesive, professional documents.

Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit documents to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.

File Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure the easy retrieval of important information.

Administrative Support: Collaborate with other team members to support additional administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Typing Speed and Accuracy: Proven ability to type a minimum of 70 words per minute with exceptional accuracy.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with transcription software.

Research Skills: Strong analytical and research abilities to source accurate, reliable information.

Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to document formatting, proofreading, and quality control.

Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and precision in all interactions.

Time Management: Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive mindset to address challenges and provide effective solutions.

Collaboration: Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining self-sufficiency on assigned tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: A diploma or degree in Business Administration, English, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a typist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.
