Responsibilities

Initiate and manage effective communication with suppliers through phone calls and emails to foster strong relationships.
Professionally represent Brands Down Town LLC during supplier negotiations, advocating for favorable terms and agreements.
Onboard new suppliers that meet our sourcing criteria, ensuring alignment with the company's standards and expectations.
Maintain precise records of all interactions with suppliers, including communications and negotiation outcomes, to track progress and performance.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and minimum order quantities with suppliers to maximize profit margins while ensuring quality standards.
Collaborate closely with internal purchasing and sales teams to integrate supplier considerations into broader business strategies.
Consistently follow up with suppliers to ensure timely responses to inquiries and that negotiation deadlines are met, facilitating deal closures.
Conduct thorough research on potential and current suppliers and their product offerings to make informed decisions during negotiations.
Leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to write effective emails and professional correspondence with suppliers.
Utilize proven relationship-building techniques to establish and maintain long-lasting collaborative partnerships with suppliers.
Work independently while staying organized and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve sourcing goals.
Develop a familiarity with Amazon wholesale or e-commerce practices to enhance negotiations and supplier onboarding processes.
Heighten understanding of the Amazon FBA business model to better assess supplier capabilities and develop strategic partnerships.
