We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Scraper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, processing, and organizing large datasets from various sources, including websites, databases, and APIs. This role requires proficiency in web scraping techniques, data extraction tools, and programming languages such as Python.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement web scraping scripts to extract data from websites and online sources.
- Clean, structure, and store scraped data in an organized manner.
- Automate data extraction processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal data scraping practices.
- Monitor and maintain scraping scripts to adapt to website structure changes.
- Work with the data analytics team to provide structured datasets for analysis.
- Troubleshoot and debug scraping issues to optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in web scraping and data extraction.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
- Experience working with APIs and databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and ethical scraping practices.
- Experience with Cali, Linux, penetration testing and exploitation is a plus.
