We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing and managing technical and commercial proposals for a variety of projects, ensuring that all bids and tenders meet the client's requirements, company standards, and deadlines.

This is a senior-level position that requires an individual with a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in the preparation of proposals for construction projects, infrastructure, and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the proposal process from initial inquiry to submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical details, to identify key project risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, legal, etc.) to gather necessary technical, financial, and operational inputs for the proposal.
  • Prepare detailed, high-quality technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clear and accurate presentation of the project scope, methodology, and costs.
  • Conduct site visits and project reviews to gain an in-depth understanding of project requirements.
  • Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and resource plans in collaboration with the project team.
  • Review and assess tender documents to identify any potential issues or clarifications needed before submission.
  • Prepare and review bid presentations for clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure competitive and innovative proposals.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members when required.
  • Ensure proposals comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in proposal preparation within the civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record in preparing winning proposals for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, costs, schedules, and contracts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, proposal management software, and other relevant tools.
  • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred but not required).
