The Chief Lead Officer (CLO) is a crucial member of the student recruitment team, responsible for generating and managing leads through various marketing strategies, networking, and strategic partnerships. This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Team to handle incoming leads and with the Conversion Team to ensure prospective students move smoothly from inquiry to application. Additionally, the CLO supports students by assisting with documentation collection and conducting financial assessments to verify eligibility for university admission and visa processing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Student Engagement:
Generate leads through direct outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities. Manage and follow up on leads provided by the Marketing Team, including those from digital marketing campaigns, local marketing efforts, and self-generated sources. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, schools, and educational institutions. Distribute promotional materials such as brochures and flyers in high-traffic areas to enhance brand visibility. Maintain and update a detailed database of prospective students to monitor engagement and progress.
Collaboration with Conversion Team & Student Handover:
Work closely with the Conversion Team to ensure a seamless handover of leads from initial inquiry to application submission. Provide comprehensive student information to support the Conversion Team’s processing efforts. Follow up with students to collect any outstanding documents required for university applications and visa procedures.
Financial Health Check & Evidence Collection:
Evaluate the financial status of prospective students to confirm their eligibility for admission and visa approval. Guide students on the preparation and submission of necessary financial documents, such as bank statements and sponsorship letters. Educate students about tuition fees, living expenses, and other financial obligations related to their studies.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or student recruitment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective engagement with students and partners. A basic understanding of financial documentation relevant to student applications is necessary. The role requires willingness and ability to travel for field marketing activities.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with digital marketing and social media engagement is an advantage. This is a full-time position offering a monthly salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs80,000. The role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
