Cotton Web Limited is seeking a diligent and experienced Incharge Assembly Stitching to oversee our stitching operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production while maintaining our well-known quality standards. This position requires an individual who can effectively manage a team of 11 sewing machine operators, provide guidance, and facilitate smooth workflow processes. The Incharge Assembly Stitching will also be responsible for pre-planning essential resources such as materials and manpower to guarantee uninterrupted operations. A strong background in sewing operations and proficiency with sewing machines are essential for success in this role. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a similar environment, and at least a matriculation level of education.
Responsibilities

  • Supervise stitching operations daily to meet production targets efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of 11 sewing machine operators, ensuring cohesive teamwork and optimal performance.
  • Provide direction and support to sewing machine operators, enhancing their skills and troubleshooting operational challenges as they arise.
  • Organize and plan resources, including materials and personnel, to ensure continuous production flow without interruptions.
  • Monitor the use of sewing machines and maintenance schedules to ensure peak operational efficiency and prevent downtimes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed stitching work to uphold quality standards and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Track production metrics and prepare reports to assess efficiency, identify improvement areas, and propose productivity enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively with procurement and inventory management teams to maintain adequate stock levels of needed materials.
  • Implement safety protocols in the stitching area to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to suggest and adopt innovative stitching techniques and practices.
