Financial Analyst

You are responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, identifying trends, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance and provide insights for planning, budgeting, and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends in financial performance and recommend improvements.
Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with various departments.
Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, and initiating corrective actions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
Evaluate new projects, investments, and business opportunities from a financial perspective.
Assist in the preparation of board presentations and investor reports.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Conduct variance analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
Research and analyze financial markets, industry trends, and economic conditions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CFA/ACCA/CA/CMA qualification or part-qualification is a plus).
1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Familiarity with industry-specific metrics and KPIs.
