Develop, analyze, and evaluate the replenishment plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy sales needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints Issuance of weekly transfer plan with daily breakup for timely dispatch of finished goods to distribution centers
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
Achieve targeted Demand Plan Accuracy (DPA) consistently (Improve Demand Plan Accuracy level/ Minimize Variability, Adjust Bias).
Analyze and communicate relevant information to Senior Management in accordance with the Monthly Business Planning process; Highlight gaps (if any); Advise impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs; Ensure actions and Demand Plans are realistic and achievable.
Drive fast and appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with the supply planning team.
