Database Architect

We are looking for an experienced Database Architect with 7 to 10 years of expertise to join our team onsite in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad. This full-time position operates during regular day shifts from Monday to Friday. The role offers a unique chance to work on large-scale enterprise systems and innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of multi-tenant architecture and extensive hands-on experience with various database technologies. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and securing complex database environments while collaborating within a dynamic and supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement multi-tenant database architectures tailored for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Manage and maintain relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL with practical expertise.
- Apply best practices for database security and encryption to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NoSQL and cloud-native database solutions where applicable.
- Contribute to data modeling, normalization, and schema design to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Support data lake initiatives and big data technologies to enhance data accessibility and analytics capabilities.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliability and availability.

Required Qualifications

- 7 to 10 years of professional experience as a Database Architect or in a similar role.
- Proven expertise in multi-tenant architecture and managing large-scale enterprise database systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of database security principles, including encryption techniques.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Skilled in data modeling, normalization, and schema design methodologies.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases and cloud-native database technologies.
