Assist and deputize the Security Department in ensuring the safety and security of Welthungerhilfe (WHH) personnel, assets, and premises, with a focus on enabling the effective and secure implementation of WHH projects and the achievement of organizational goals. Additionally, contribute to building the safety & security capacity of WHH partners through ongoing cooperation, support, and training.The position requires up to 70% field travel across all provinces of Pakistan, often in challenging environments.

Key Area of Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and update security plans, SOPs, SRAs, and contingency measures.

  • Liaise with LEAs, government bodies, UN/INGO forums, and WHH partners.

  • Issue timely security advisories and maintain daily travel/movement tracking.

  • Support partner organizations in security risk assessments and capacity building.

  • Maintain operational readiness, incident response systems, and relevant documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements: Education & Experience:

  • A university degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Preferably retired from armed forces (Grade 18-19) with 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Previous experience in NGO/INGO or partnership-based work is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of safety/security protocols, conflict management, and risk mitigation.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365).

  • Familiarity with surveillance systems, fire/burglar alarms, and emergency response tools.

  • Fluent in English and Urdu; local language skills are a plus.

  • High confidentiality and professional ethics.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
