We are currently searching for a proactive Business Development Manager, based in Lahore, who possesses a strong B2B sales background. This role entails driving growth by promoting our digital solutions to restaurants, retailers, and various other businesses. The ideal candidate will engage in strategic outreach, cultivate client relationships, and leverage market insights to propel our offerings in the e-commerce sphere. While this position does not involve managing a team, it prioritizes individual contributions to sales targets and overall business development.
Responsibilities
With over 80% year-on-year growth, Pakistan's e-commerce industry growth is amongst the fastest globally. To realize the potential of this emerging new economy, Dukan.pk has launched a custom built app to help 5 million MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) in Pakistan to digitize their business using a simple smartphone. The Dukan app enables micro and small sellers with a full-stack e-commerce platform that not only enables online selling, but also online payments, locally integrated delivery options, online marketing and access to sales and stock performance insights through the app. Managing khata, ordering stock from wholesalers and a dedicated POS for retail stores are some of the key features of the Dukan app, designed to enable and digitize the $160 Billion distribution and retail market in Pakistan. Retailers are also able to access credit, by applying for a loan through the Dukan app, for purchasing stock without affecting their cash flows.
