EDI Business Analyst

We are looking for a seasoned IT professional with over five years of experience to join our team based in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or remotely. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations, collaborating closely with multiple internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange within logistics and supply chain operations. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to global EDI transformation projects while working in a diverse and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to EDI integrations to ensure they meet organizational objectives.
- Design and document technical specifications in compliance with EDI standards such as UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12.
- Develop mapping specifications using GEFEG.fx and work alongside developers to address any custom integration needs.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams including Transportation Management System (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Order Management System (OMS), CW1, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and eDC to facilitate smooth integration workflows.
- Lead the testing phases, including Product Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live activities, ensuring quality and reliability of EDI solutions.
- Provide Hypercare support at Silver and Platinum levels, managing EDI troubleshooting and maintaining system stability after deployment.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders, tracking progress to ensure transparency and successful project delivery.
- Work effectively within a self-organized, multicultural team, contributing positively to team dynamics and project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience with EDI standards, specifically UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12.
- Proficiency in communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and AS2.
- Working knowledge of XML, XPATH, and SQL for data manipulation and integration tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-cultural teams and diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in the Transport and Warehousing EDI lifecycle is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with TMS, WMS, and OMS systems will be advantageous.
- Exposure to pre-sales activities, documentation, or scope change management is considered a plus.
