Deputy Manager-Oracle Developer

EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy Manager-Oracle Developer to enhance our technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Oracle technologies, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs. The Deputy Manager will engage with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into innovative technical designs and implementations. Although the position does not involve management of a team, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with peers to tackle complex data challenges and ensure all development projects adhere to the company's standards and timelines. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust PL/SQL scripts to support database operations and application requirements.
Create and manage Oracle Forms and Reports to facilitate user interactions and data reporting effectively.
Engage in data modeling activities to efficiently organize and structure data to align with business logic and requirements.
Utilize SQL to perform complex queries, ensuring data accuracy and consistency while adhering to best practices.
Write and execute Unix/Linux Shell Scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance system performance.
Implement Oracle APEX for rapid application development ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Participate in application testing, validating functionality, performance, and security of new development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate technical concepts, and recommend solutions.
Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing fixes as required.
Document technical specifications, design patterns, and workflows clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing.
