We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing information about our products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency.
- Maintain a deep understanding of products, services, and company policies to provide accurate information.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges as needed.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolution of issues.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a customer service or support role (1-2 years preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Multilingual ability is a plus.
- Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., retail, telecom, insurance, etc.].
