Frontend Developer

A Canadian company specializing in real estate software solutions is looking to expand its team by hiring a Junior Frontend Developer to work onsite in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with modern web technologies, including strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Proficiency in both React JS and Angular/AngularJS frameworks is essential. Additionally, familiarity with UI design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and development environments like Visual Studio Code is required. The role focuses on building intuitive and responsive user interfaces that improve user experience and application performance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React JS, and Angular/AngularJS. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement high-quality designs, utilizing tools like Photoshop for image slicing and optimization. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code to maintain application quality. Optimize applications for performance and usability to deliver seamless user experiences. Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and platforms. Work collaboratively with back-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs effectively. Use Visual Studio Code and Git for code editing and version control.

Required Qualifications
Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3. Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery. Experience with React JS and Angular/AngularJS frameworks. Familiarity with Visual Studio Code (VS Code) IDE. Experience in creating responsive web designs and layouts. Basic to intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop for slicing and image optimization. Understanding of web standards, accessibility guidelines, and SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming enhances candidacy. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is desirable. Proficiency with browser developer tools for debugging is beneficial. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Karachi, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience.
