Zarea Limited, Pakistan’s largest and fastest-growing digital marketplace for physical commodities, is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join their team in Lahore Cantt. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js, and will be responsible for building responsive, scalable, and pixel-perfect user interfaces for web applications. This role requires a passion for creating high-performance, visually appealing interfaces that work seamlessly across a variety of devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX designs from tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch into responsive React components with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Develop scalable and maintainable user interfaces using component-based architecture and atomic design principles.
- Ensure consistent rendering and usability across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices through responsive and adaptive layouts.
- Optimize frontend performance by implementing techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and image/font optimization.
- Integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs to enable dynamic data interactions including product listings, user profiles, and shopping carts.
- Manage application state efficiently using Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Implement interactive features such as shopping carts, wishlists, search suggestions, and filters to enhance user experience.
- Maintain accessibility compliance following A11y standards, incorporating ARIA roles and keyboard navigation support.
- Configure SEO elements leveraging Next.js features like getServerSideProps and getStaticProps.
- Set up meta tags, Open Graph data, and structured schema markup to improve search engine optimization.
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to guarantee consistent performance.
- Handle secure user authentication and token-based session management on the frontend.
- Support real-time UI updates for events such as stock availability and delivery options.
- Use Git for version control and actively participate in Agile/Scrum development workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design methodologies.
- Knowledge of API integration using REST or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with design systems and atomic design concepts.
- Familiarity with state management tools such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
- Knowledge of Headless CMS platforms and server-side rendering/static site generation (SSR/SSG) concepts.
- Basic understanding of web accessibility standards (A11y).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows and deployment tools.

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
