The HR Manager will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all human resource functions and general administrative operations of Future Designz. This multifaceted role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws, administering compensation and benefits, handling comprehensive office and facilities management, and fostering a positive, efficient, and high-performance workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Human Resources Management:

  1. Strategic HR & Planning:
    • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems that support the company's growth and values.
    • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Management:
    • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all showroom roles (e.g., Sales Consultants, Admin Operations, 3D Graphic Designers, Accounts Executives, Cashiers) and warehouse staff (e.g., Warehouse Managers, Assistants).
    • Develop compelling job descriptions, utilize various sourcing channels, conduct thorough interviews, and manage the selection process.
    • Negotiate offers, prepare employment contracts, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including comprehensive orientation.
  3. Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Performance Management & Development:
    • Oversee the implementation and administration of performance appraisal systems.
    • Guide managers in performance reviews, goal setting, and creating development plans for staff.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal/external training programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  5. Compensation & Benefits:
    • Administer payroll accurately and timely manner, ensuring correct calculations for salaries, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and statutory contributions.
    • Manage attendance records, leave management (annual, sick, casual), and overtime calculations.
    • Research and recommend competitive compensation and benefits structures.
  6. HR Compliance & Record Keeping:
    • Ensure strict adherence to all national and local labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
    • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date physical and digital employee records and HR databases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5-8 years) in a comprehensive HR and Admin Generalist or Managerial role, with significant experience in a retail showroom, trading, or similar fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end recruitment, payroll administration, attendance management, employee relations, and facilities oversight.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and motivating administrative and support staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices in Pakistan.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/Payroll software and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and a results-oriented approach.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
