We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating impactful videos that captivate and inform viewers.

Job Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality video content for news stories, interviews, features, and other multimedia projects.
Work collaboratively with journalists, producers, and the creative team to ensure video content aligns with the channel’s vision and style.
Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to create visually appealing and professionally edited videos.
Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and subtitles to enhance video storytelling.
Handle a variety of video formats and styles, including short-form news clips, documentaries, promotional videos, and live streams.
Manage video assets, ensuring proper organization and archiving.
Stay updated with current trends and techniques in video production to consistently elevate the quality of output.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a news or media environment.
Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software.
Strong storytelling and creative skills to produce compelling visual narratives.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
Basic understanding of camera operations and shooting techniques is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying current with industry trends.
