Gather and clean data from various sources, including weather reports, soil data, market prices, and government policies.
Build and validate predictive models to forecast crop prices using statistical and machine learning techniques.
Identify key variables affecting price trends and provide actionable insights.
Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders clearly.
Collaborate with agronomists, traders, and policymakers to refine prediction accuracy.
Continuously update models with new data to improve performance over time.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or predictive modeling (agriculture-related experience is a plus).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
Experience with data analysis tools like Pandas, NumPy, or Power BI.
Some familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Some Knowledge of time-series analysis and regression models.
Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Understanding of agriculture, commodity trading, or economic factors affecting crop prices is a bonus.
