Logistics Executive

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain, inventory, transportation, and distribution processes. This role ensures the efficient movement of goods, timely deliveries, and cost-effective logistics operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and warehouses.
- Monitor and track shipments to resolve delays or issues.
Supply Chain Management:
- Work closely with suppliers, transporters, and warehouses to optimize logistics operations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers.
- Optimize routes and transportation methods for cost efficiency.
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for smooth storage and dispatch operations.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and stock replenishment.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, customs paperwork, and delivery notes.
- Maintain records of shipments, inventory, and logistics expenses.
Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:
- Identify areas for process improvements in logistics operations.
- Reduce transportation and storage costs without compromising service quality.
- Implement new technologies and strategies to enhance efficiency.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate reports on logistics performance, expenses, and inventory turnover.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improve logistics planning.
- Provide insights for budgeting and financial forecasting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
