Supervise the electrical utility design team in all phases of electrical system design, installation, and project execution.
Ensure detailed design and planning of electrical utility systems including HT/LT panels, power distribution, control systems, and grounding.
Prepare and review CAD drawings in coordination with the HOD, ensuring accuracy, proper cable routing, panel placement, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Apply knowledge of electrical codes and standards in the development of electrical layouts, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Civil, and Project Operations to ensure cohesive and timely project delivery.
Review technical documents, material specifications, electrical load calculations, and vendor drawings for compliance and accuracy.
Prepare and verify BOQ for electrical components as per project requirements and coordinate with the commercial team for smooth procurement and execution.
Track the project timeline and update the HOD with daily progress reports and key milestones related to electrical system delivery.
Monitor and ensure that the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning align with operational performance, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation of design data, revisions, testing records, and installation reports.
Support the procurement team in the selection of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring quality, compatibility, and timely delivery.
