Halan Banksample is seeking an experienced Risk Mitigation Manager to lead and enhance our risk management strategies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team of four dedicated professionals, driving initiatives that protect the bank's assets and uphold regulatory compliance. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and compliance regulations to identify potential risks and implement effective responses. As a champion of crisis management and incident response planning, you will play an integral role in preserving the integrity of our operations and safeguarding stakeholders' interests. Your analytical skills will serve to enhance our financial analysis processes, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the risk assessment process by identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential risks to the organization, using established risk assessment frameworks.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and frameworks that comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Oversee incident response planning and execute crisis management strategies to mitigate the impact of unforeseen events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring a seamless operation in times of crisis.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members and staff on crisis communication plans and response workflows.
  • Utilize risk modeling tools and risk management software to provide clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Analyze financial data to support risk mitigation efforts and inform the development of risk management strategies.
  • Review and update the crisis management framework regularly to reflect current best practices and emerging threats.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of risk management processes and maintain accurate records for compliance purposes.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture across the organization by promoting proactive risk management and encouraging open communication regarding potential risks.
