Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will support the successful implementation of the "Climate Resilient WASH: An Integrated Approach to Sustainable Solutions" project in District Muzaffarabad. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and facilitating communication among project teams, stakeholders, and local communities. The Project Coordinator will ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of project milestones while upholding HDF's commitment to quality and community-centered development.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Scheduling:
- Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Coordinate daily activities to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to keep the team on schedule.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for local communities, project staff, and contractors.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including government representatives, community leaders, and development partners.
- Facilitate community meetings to ensure transparency and alignment with project goals.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, field reports, and meeting notes.
- Maintain organized records of project files, including agreements, schedules, and financial documentation.
- Compile data for performance monitoring and evaluation, supporting the Project Manager in impact assessment.
Logistics and Resource Management:
- Assist with logistical arrangements for project activities, including field visits, meetings, and training sessions.
- Ensure timely procurement and distribution of necessary materials and equipment.
- Monitor resource use and report any variances to the Project Manager.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Conduct routine field visits to monitor project implementation and ensure adherence to HDF’s and donor standards.
- Identify potential issues or risks and work with the Project Manager to address them proactively.
- Ensure that project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Communication and Coordination:
- Coordinate regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
- Communicate project updates to team members and stakeholders, ensuring all are informed and aligned.
- Facilitate the resolution of any misunderstandings or issues among project team members and external stakeholders.
Support to Project Manager:
- Assist the Project Manager with tasks necessary for project planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Provide input on ways to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Step in for the Project Manager when necessary, managing day-to-day tasks to maintain continuity.
