You will be responsible for the supply chain process for pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
Role include:
Supply chain management
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including strategic sourcing, product selection, inventory management, and transport.
Import and International Supplier
Establish and maintain relationships with Export suppliers and other International Supplier and vendors.
Supplier relationships
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and other organizations
Purchasing
- Create purchase orders, negotiate with vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies
Inventory management
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor for shortages and recalls, and communicate inventory action
Record keeping
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Communication
- Initiate correspondence with suppliers, advise the pharmacy procurement lead, and maintain a polite manner with staff, manufacturers, and visitors
Software
- Use software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Other responsibilities might include:
- Attending trade fairs and conferences to find new suppliers
- Working with other teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time
- Certifying credit notes against invoices
- Maintaining the files and correspondence of the Head of Pharmacy
- Assisting the Pharmacists with technical studies and research projects
