Scooping Crew

Join Hico Icecream as a Scooping Crew member and become a key player in delivering an exceptional ice cream experience to our customers. In this role, you will utilize your ice cream scooping skills and customer service expertise to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly. As a crucial part of our team, you will engage with customers, take their orders, and provide recommendations on flavors while maintaining the cleanliness and safety standards of the parlor. This position requires a presentable demeanor and at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in an ice cream parlor environment. Your passion for creating delectable ice cream treats and fostering customer satisfaction will be essential in contributing to Hico Icecreams reputation for quality and fun.

Responsibilities

Scoop and serve ice cream with precision and creativity, ensuring the presentation of each order is appealing.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders and addressing any inquiries they may have.
Provide recommendations on flavor pairings and create unique combinations to enhance the customer experience.
Accurately handle cash transactions and process payments using the point of sale system, maintaining a balanced cash register.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the ice cream parlor, including workstations, serving areas, and seating spaces.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products are prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with restocking supplies, and reporting any shortages to management.
Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment, assisting each other with tasks as needed to meet customer demand.
Participate in staff training and development activities to improve scooping techniques and customer engagement skills.
