Highnoon Laboratories is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manager EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) to lead our commitment to safety and environmental care within the organization. This role is vital for ensuring compliance with established environmental regulations, health and safety protocols, and organizational standards. The Manager EHS will oversee a team of two safety professionals, guiding them in implementing efficient safety measures and promoting a culture of health and safety across all project activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with a solid understanding of environmental regulations and safety audits. A hands-on approach to risk assessment and a commitment to fostering teamwork is essential to ensure the well-being of our employees, contractors, and the surrounding environment.
Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive safety measures and tests to ensure compliance with EHS regulations, aimed at safeguarding employee health, contractor safety, and environmental preservation.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of the Wastewater Treatment (WWT) plant, ensuring adherence to all environmental safety standards and practices.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and testing on all vehicles to verify compliance with established chemical levels and limitations.
  • Regularly monitor and assess indoor air quality, implementing measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Evaluate the limitations and functional conditions of generators and boilers, ensuring optimal operations without compromising worker safety.
  • Perform swab testing in production areas to detect and address any harmful pollutants or bacteria, thus maintaining a clean production environment.
  • Develop and conduct training programs focused on Safe Work Practices, empowering employees to adopt and maintain a proactive stance on workplace safety.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a sustainable work environment within the framework of DRAP regulations and supervisory guidelines.
  • Lead regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards, proposing effective strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team and broader organization, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.
