The Store InCharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring optimal inventory management, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, supervising store staff, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Manage stock receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Report and handle discrepancies or damaged goods.

Store Operations:

  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly merchandised.
  • Implement and maintain store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and security measures are followed.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Assist customers by providing product information and support.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Promote and drive sales through excellent service and product knowledge.

Staff Supervision:

  • Manage and motivate store staff to achieve performance targets.
  • Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor staff attendance.
  • Conduct training and development for new and existing staff.

Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Communicate with management regarding store operations, challenges, and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in store management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
