We are expanding our IT operations and seeking a dynamic IT project manager to lead projects, hire a full-fledged IT team, and ensure seamless project execution. This role necessitates an individual who can plan, execute, and deliver results effectively, all while building a diverse, high-performing team from its inception.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve organizational goals.
  • Define project requirements and scope, aligning technical deliverables with business objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of IT projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and other departments.
  • Present project updates, progress, risks, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Translate business goals into technical deliverables, ensuring alignment across all teams.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Address issues promptly to avoid project delays or compromises in quality.

Technology Leadership:

  • Guide the team in leveraging technologies like React.js, .NET Core, MySQL, mobile app frameworks, and AWS.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure projects adhere to industry best practices and company objectives.

Team and Project Oversight:

  • Manage and coordinate team workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration between developers, designers, and content creators.
  • Monitor project progress and individual team member performance to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
  • Plan and oversee deployment on platforms like AWS, ensuring smooth launches and reliable ongoing operations.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s certificate preferred).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience with a proven track record of building and managing teams.
  • Experience in recruiting diverse IT roles, including developers, designers, and content creators.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams in remote or hybrid environments.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of React.js, .NET Core, MySQL, AWS, and mobile app frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
