- The incumbent will be responsible for performing the costing of all import shipments for goods in transit within the consignment database.
- Performs Administrative activities with concern to processing, of documentation, and handling of all incoming Shipments.
- Liaises with the Finance Department for opening Letters of credit, transfers, and bank delivery orders for shipment covered by L/C and without LC.
- Assisting in coordination for inspection and necessary survey, in case shipments arrive in open, torn, wet and damaged condition.
- Coordinating with other suppliers of the company to ensure proper arrival of goods in the Units and ensuring their timely payment.
- Coordinating with the suppliers of the company, the shipping agents, and freight forwarders to ensure proper clearance of goods from customs.
