Title:Senior Power BI Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team on a full-time, onsite basis. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using the Power BI platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs for data visualization and reporting.
- Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Optimize Power BI models and data structures for improved performance and scalability.
- Implement security measures and data governance policies to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI solutions, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and functionalities, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions, including report and dashboard design, data modeling, and DAX calculations.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly reports and dashboards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements to deliver effective BI solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with other BI tools, such as Tableau or QlikView, is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
