Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future procurement needs.
Coordinate with warehouse and accounts departments to verify and reconcile deliveries.
Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing software/tools.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
