• Identification of new projects & support in proposals development to diversify the livelihood options by introducing innovative activities. 
  • Effective coordination and planning of livelihoods and agriculture-related activities.
  • Proper planning and execution of livelihoods and agriculture activities while consulting all concerns.
  • Ensure timely completion of all activities while adhering to quality aspects.
  • Progress sharing with line management on a regular basis as per practice that is monthly, interim, and end-term reports.
  • Developing context-specific criteria and assessment tools in consultation with the relevant line management.
  • Ongoing monitoring of all interventions & sharing timely feedback with line management.
  • Gauge the impacts of all interventions & share the report with all concerned.
  • Identify resource persons for capacity-building components under livelihoods.
  • Identify gaps, and avoid overlaps and duplication of grants/project activities.
  • Advise the field teams on best practices and approaches to sustainable livelihoods/Agriculture and ensure effective implementation.
  • Remain a good team player & foster team building.
  • Effective skills of resolving problems, especially in the field.
  • Ensure M&E applications
  • Create and maintain good relationships with local communities, line agencies, NGOs/INGOs and UN agencies
  • Strategic oversight of planning, budgeting, re-designing,  implementation, and monitoring of the program/projects
  • Operational (Elaborate the operational key results areas in detail).
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly work plans against PMT (performance-measured time frame) by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in the stipulated time period.
  • Maintenance of hard records that includes field visit reports, CO meeting minutes, beneficiary data, assessment records, distribution records & other documentation.
  • Ensure appropriate beneficiary’s data collection & screening prior to making any transaction
  • Ensure proper filling of forms & formats as per desired standard
  • Extend support to MEAL / MIS / Communications staff for gathering desired information.
  • Ensure availability of up-to-date info in MIS on a regular basis with the consultation of MIS / M&E.
  • Close coordination with the line manager for effective implantation of project activities.
  • Organizational (Elaborate the organizational key results areas in detail).
  • Ensure compliance with IR’s policies & procedures in true spirit for effective delivery of services to communities.
  • In-depth understanding of IR values and their demonstration in the field while working with communities.
  • Abide by the IR zero-tolerance policy towards bribery & corruption through sensitization/empowerment of communities on coping mechanisms so that they can raise their voices as & when feel inappropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of IR strategic priorities to ensure effective implementation with future sustainability.
  • Assist in the identification & documentation of organizational successes for showcasing IR work
  • Facilitate communities in adaptation of environment-friendly & cost-effective approaches to meet their current as well as future needs with specific attention to climate change.
  • Focused efforts to be made for mainstreaming of marginalized groups i.e. Persons with disability and old age, minorities, Women & Children, etc in consultation & implementation of project activities at the ground.
  • Strengthen mechanism to Influence the decision makers through communities to pay attention to DRR planning, give voice to suffering and the excluded, and highlight the protection needs of people.
  • Participation and facilitation in the implementation of IR seasonal programs.
