IT Officer

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a well-established contracting firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services and affiliated with Izhar Construction Company Pvt Ltd, is looking to hire a full-time IT Officer. This position is based on-site at various project locations in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure operations across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems to support daily operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and servers efficiently.
- Provide timely technical support to end-users by diagnosing and addressing IT problems.
- Maintain IT security through regular data backups, antivirus updates, and access control enforcement.
- Manage network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure reliable connectivity.
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance and security.
- Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their IT needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
- Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and staff training.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of proven experience in IT support or administration roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with users and team members.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are highly desirable.
- This is a full-time, on-site role offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 55,000.
- Work locations include key project sites in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.
